The Make A Wish Foundation is pleased to grant a wish to a special child in Fuquay Varina. Aremanii Medlin (everyone calls her Manii) is 9-years-old and is confined to a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy and a seizure disorder. She loves all the Disney characters and Ronald McDonald. Her wish to go to DisneyWorld with her family has been granted and they will enjoy a week in Orlando in early August. To celebrate this special event, the Make A Wish Foundation threw a party for Manii on Saturday, July 17. Family and friends enjoyed good food and a special guest — Ronald McDonald. Everyone — adults and children — had a wonderful time.
