Today, Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison endorsed Phil Matthews for Wake County Commissioner.

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Phil Matthews as a friend and neighbor for many years. He has served the citizens of Garner for eight years as a City Councilman, Volunteer Fireman, First Responder and is very active in the community,” said Harrison. “I enthusiastically endorse Phil for Wake County Commissioner because he is a true conservative that will look out for all the citizens of Wake County. I urge everyone to vote for him in November.”

Matthews responded by saying, “Sheriff Harrison is well respected all over North Carolina and I am honored by his endorsement.”

“Over the coming weeks, I will be traveling all over the county sharing my conservative message and meeting the people,” Matthews said.
